War of the Worlds (2025)

The only reason I watched this was solely to see how bad it was. It has a 4% on Rotten Tomatoes, which I was curious if it actually deserved. Short answer: it does. Long answer: well, I’m not giving a long answer because this film doesn’t deserve a review from me. So I’m keeping it quick. For starters, the acting was so atrociously bad, and Ice Cube should be ashamed of this. Nothing against him personally, but wow, there’s no way he can’t say how horrible this was. Second, it’s one of the worst edited films I’ve ever seen, with so many random cuts and jumps. Third, it’s horribly written, with a paper thin plot that was stupid and felt like it was written by a second grader. The dialogue was so unnatural, and absolutely none of it sounded, in any way, realistic. Long story short, the film sucks mega Martian balls, and doesn’t deserve to exist. I’m sending lots of hate towards this (except for Devon Bostick, love you bro). Worst film of 2025.
