• “Wow”. That’s the one word that sums up this film. It’s so insanely good, and it’s often regarded as one of the best MCU films to date. It’s very close to being my favorite MCU film, only behind a select few. Like, I literally can’t even put how awesome this film is. The story is extremely good, and I really enjoyed it. It takes several twists and turns that you don’t really see in superhero films. From the very beginning, you get pulled in, and you stay sucked in until the very end. Every second of this film is filled with some kind of action, great storytelling, or character progression. It was just so masterfully made. It does a great job of bringing the journey of the original Avengers to a close, and though I’m sad that their path is up (for at least a few of them), I thought it ended in a perfect way. I won’t go into much detail about why it’s so awesome, because this is a film that you need to experience without knowing too much about it. Like Infinity War, this film has basically all the characters in it, and the final fight scene in the end is one of the greatest CBM scenes of all time. I was so absorbed in it, as it was both beautiful and intense at the same time. Seeing everyone team up to destroy pure evil was inspiring and powerful, and even if you don’t see it on the surface, there is a great message. I also love how you get to see the many lengths that certain characters go through in order to save those that they love. Like I said, it’s very inspiring. There were so many great shots and sequences in this movie, and the cinematography is pretty great, though the actual color grading can be a bit drabby, especially in the final scene. That’s kind of the point, but at the same time, I would’ve liked a bit more color. The VFX were also pretty good, minus the occasional obvious green screen. The fight scenes were very well shot and choreographed, which helps build up the intense action. The music was insanely good, and getting to hear the main Avengers theme in certain scenes was truly special. A lot like Infinity War, the score perfectly adds to each and every scene. My only big complaints are “Smart Hulk” and “Fat Thor”. I just don’t think they help the characters, and though I guess they can make sense for the main storyline, I’m just not a big fan. But overall, this is one of the greatest superhero movies ever made, and I am super excited to watch it again. I would highly recommend it to all superhero/Marvel fans.
