Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father
In rare fashion, I’m keeping this review very short. It has left me too heartbroken and I feel like I’ve just been run over by a cement truck. It’s one of the most well edited documentaries I’ve seen, with a very powerful yet devastating message. The events that happened are unfortunate, yet can be used educationally. It shows so many sides of love and family, all while showing how sucky the legal system is. It’s one of the most emotional films I’ve ever seen, and one that everyone should see at some point in their life. It’s not easy to sit through, but the intentions are well, and it honors the Bagby family in a beautiful (though sad) way. Don’t watch this without some tissues ready. I know I needed them.
