Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi (2022)
This is honestly one of the best ideas that Disney has had for Star Wars. Doing a mini series that’s only an hour and a half at the max about some little backstories and side quests, but nothing you have to delve too deep into, is very smart. I love how each episode is just a quick little tale of adventure, but they are all connected and shed light on some background lore. This puts a lot of focus on Ahsoka and Count Dooku (before he was a count) in their younger days. We already know a lot about Ahsoka, but seeing Dooku with a young Qui-Gon was truly epic. Plus, getting to see more of Yaddle was extremely exciting. Unfortunately, she’s not there for long, but what we got was cool. The voice cast did a great job, and bringing in Liam Neeson (and his son) was a home run for me. The animation is as great as ever, with the classic Clone Wars look, though a little bit updated. Each episode is great, and episode four in particular was my favorite. Overall, it’s a quick but memorable series, and I can’t wait to watch the next two. I would recommend this to all Star Wars fans. This show is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
