Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld
Definitely the weakest of the three Tales series so far, though it’s still not bad by any means. It’s not as compelling as the other two series, mostly because the storylines don’t really center on anything extravagant. Sometimes that’s a good thing, but in this case, it didn’t seem as interesting. But again, that doesn’t mean this was bad. I really enjoyed seeing Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane, who are two of the most underrated Star Wars characters in my opinion. Everything involving them was fantastic, and I’m very glad that’s who this series focused on. However, I would’ve liked to see a bit more underworld, rather than just bounty hunter/rogue characters. Kind of like if this series focused on the Hutts and their crime family, or the streets of Coruscant and death sticks and all that jazz. Either way, it’s a fun show with some great moments (and an emotional one). The animation is strong again, and the voice cast does a solid job. Overall, it’s a nice continuation of the Tales anthology, and I hope to see more. It’s not as good as the first two, but still pretty great. I would recommend it to all Star Wars fans. This show is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
