Henry Danger
Growing up through elementary and middle school, there were a lot of shows that I absolutely lived for, and this was one of my absolute favorites. I mean, the highlight of each day was watching Henry Danger after I got my homework done. It’s one of the best Nickelodeon shows ever, up with the likes of ‘iCarly’ and ‘Drake & Josh’. This one is an all timer. Dan Schneider might be a human scumbag, but he knows how to run and write a show. The humor is so ridiculous, but it’s absolutely my speed. As much of a superhero fan I am, it’s awesome to have a goofy comedy following small town superheroes, where all logic can be thrown out the window, and you can have a good time. All the villains are campy and stupid, and most are pretty obnoxious, but that’s what’s so fun. All the costumes are colorful and flashy, with such an iconic look for Captain Man and Kid Danger. Jace Norman and Cooper Barnes are so perfectly cast, with other fantastic supporting performances from Riele Downs, Ella Anderson, Sean Ryan Fox, and Michael D. Cohen. Every single character is hilarious and adds so much personality to the show. Overall, this is one of my favorite shows ever, where every episode is over the top and corny, but it’s truly where my humor has peaked. And the amount of nostalgia it holds for me is incredible. Just over ten years since it premiered (when I was ten), and as an adult now, it’s still just as good. This series is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
