Star Wars: Tales of the Empire
I’m gonna start off with my only gripe: not enough villains. What do I mean by that? Well, even though we get a look at General Grievous, Darth Vader, and the Grand Inquisitor, I would’ve liked this show to have been centric around some of them. Don’t get me wrong, using Barris Offee as one of the main characters was really neat, and I love getting good looks at minor characters. But when this is labeled ‘Tales of the Empire’, I wanna see some REAL Empire. On that note, this show was absolutely fantastic and I loved pretty much every second of it. It’s got a nice structure and covers a good time span from different angles. It was nice to see some glimpses of post Empire at the beginning of the show, and then right pre/current Empire in the last bit. Even though there aren’t any events shown that you haven’t really seen before, I still liked the use of the Inquisitors. The animation is great again, and all the character designs were solid. The voice cast is good and each episode is written well. I think this is slightly below ‘Tales of the Jedi’, but not by much. It’s still just as entertaining and has good characters and fun fights. I would recommend this to all Star Wars fans. This show is officially Berry Approved, so go watch it now!
