• This will be a quick review for a quick film. At only 73 minutes, it flies by pretty quickly, but stays just long enough for you to feel deeply uncomfortable. There’s hardly any substance there, other than the physical substances coming out of the victims. Hehehe, see what I did there? But the story is paper thin, and the whole thing is basically just torture porn. I’m not really complaining, because I love to be disgusted. It’s definitely extreme, though not as bad as some other things I’ve seen. But literally the main plot is just “watch these people get tortured and die”. And it’s fun! Am I a psycho? Why, yes, yes I am. The makeup and effects were hilariously cheesy, though just graphic enough to still get under your skin. The writing was also hilariously bad especially in the final torture scene. Even though the film is disturbing, it’s very hard to take seriously at times. The performances aren’t great, but they aren’t as bad as I was expecting. Slightly goofy, yet still a little riveting. That’s about all there is to say. It’s kinda bad, but also…kinda good? I would only recommend it if you like torture films such as ‘Saw’ or ‘Terrifier’, but with way less plot.
